A statement of charges will be placed each month in your child’s Sign-Out Folder. Tuition is paid in advance and due on the 1 st of each month. Other arrangements must be made with the Director. A finance charge of $10.00 will be added to tuition fees not paid by the 20th of each month. This fee will also assess on Co-payments required by DSHS authorization agreement. Payments can be placed in the payment box located at the top of the stairs. If non-payment of tuition exceeds six weeks, your child will be dismissed from the Center. (DSHS will also be informed of non-payment if you are under contract with them).

A FINANCE CHARGE OF $25.00 WILL BE ASSESSED FOR NON-SUFFICIENT FUNDS RETURNED CHECK.

Payments for scheduled hours must be made in advance and a Contract for Services signed in advance. Children will not be allowed to continue to attend the Center if bills are not paid by the 20 th of the month. Make checks payable to A Child’s Delight Learning Center. You will be billed for extra hours beyond scheduled hours on the following month’s bill.

While we understand the need to keep our childcare costs as low as possible, we have extenuating circumstances that require us to review our rate schedules at least once a year. Employee raises, tax increases, food costs, etc., can contribute to the rate increases. We review our budget in September and will notify you as least a month in advance of our decision to raise rates or to remain the same rate.

All new applicants will pay a $75.00 non-refundable registration fee. This fee, to be paid each year, must accompany the completed application forms.

Additional charges may include services such as field trips, diapers, special activities, and late fees.

Vacation credit will be given when:
  • Your child has had three continuous months of enrollment
  • Your account is current
  • A two week written notice is given

One week = your current scheduled week. Credit will be given at 75% of tuition.

The vacation credit policy does not apply to persons who receive subsidized childcare payments from a state agency.

Credit will be given if you child is absent for a week or more due to an illness. Credit will be 75% of tuition. A doctor’s note will be required upon returning to the Center. Credit will be issued in the monthly billing following the child’s absence. The illness credit policy does not apply to persons who receive subsidized childcare payment from a state agency.

We reserve your child’s scheduled hours at A Child’s Delight Learning Center, so tuition fees must be paid whether or not your child attends all the scheduled times. Unscheduled hours may not be substituted for scheduled hours. We cannot guarantee that we will always have space for added hours.

If you have any extenuating circumstances, and you need to work out written payment arrangements, please talk to the director.

DSHS SUBSIDIZED CHILDCARE: Is available through DSHS for parents who are low income or who have extenuating circumstances. Subsidized childcare arrangements must be made with DSHS by the parent/guardian. Children accepted on DSHS must have written verification or verbal authorization from DSHS prior to admittance to avoid being billed for tuition charges. Co-payments are due at the beginning of each month.

Note: DSHS will pay for only 5 days of non-attendance per month and state law prohibits our charging the parent for non-reimbursed days that have been contracted; therefore, if the child has non-reimbursed days for two months in any calendar year, childcare services will be terminated without notice. Exceptions will be made only in the case of extenuating medical circumstances with a doctor’s written notification.

For more information on eligibility for DSHS subsidization call Regional 5 Customer Call CTR at 866-755-4834.
